Parenting Investigator

Julie Oster is a Parenting Investigator under the North Dakota Statewide Parenting Investigator/GAL Roster for all ND Districts. She has completed the Parenting Investigator/GAL 18-hour training and has met qualifications and educational requirements of Rule 8.6 of the North Dakota Rules of Court.

A parenting investigator is appointed to assist the court by doing an impartial evaluation and submitting a report that makes recommendations regarding residential responsibility and parenting time. The ultimate parenting time decision is made by the court after applying the law to all relevant evidence.

For more information on the parenting investigation and how to prepare for your parenting investigation, please review the Parenting Investigator Pamphlet prepared by the North Dakota Supreme Court.
